Therapists

Therapists and therapy groups, including occupational therapists, clinical therapists, special needs professionals, out-of-school time curriculums, and behavior and hospital programs, use Emotional ABCs as part of their work with children and families.

Emotional ABCs is a great SEL tool for my therapy clients. It is a great resource to assist
with emotion regulation and what makes its even better is that my KIDS ENJOY DOING IT. They look forward to it each session! It’s interactive and makes the kids think about their emotions and how they manage them. Parents also love the curriculum and how engaged their children are in sessions. SUCH A GREAT RESOURCE! What type of Emotional ABCs subscription
best meets the needs of your practice?

PREMIUM SINGLE USER ACCOUNTS

Consider this subscription if you work with a single client at a time or if you plan to introduce emotional skills to a small group.

For a single client session, you can use a computer or handheld device to show videos, work through interactive learning tools, and model social-emotional skills. Emotional ABCs is a sequential curriculum, but you can unlock the Lesson List program to go directly to topics relevant to each client.

You will also have access to all 3 years of the Emotional ABCs Classroom Workshops. These are more specifically designed for group instruction but offer a lot of extra resources that may help you in your practice. The Workshops expand on our introductory Lesson List sequence by using additional offline resources for group or individual engagement and build year on year. A complete Curriculum Structure, Teacher’s Guide, and a Print Library with hundreds of PDFs are included to help therapists present and work through social-emotional learning concepts in a group or individual setting.

PREMIUM GROUP ACCOUNTS

Consider this subscription if you want to substantially increase your clients’ ability to practice skills presented during therapy sessions, and to more easily involve families in supporting their child’s social emotional growth.

Each client will have an individual sign-in to access the curriculum from home or school/facility. You can assign an at-home review for each session, follow each child’s progress through the program, and the client can create a portfolio of online (and offline) art and visual activities.

Additionally, providing students with home access can significantly increase therapist-to-home SEL communication. Families can become familiar with and use the same language and techniques at home as in therapy sessions.

Note: The Premium Group includes 30 client and two therapist sign-ins per Classroom. Clients do not need to be in the same “classroom” or progress at the same pace. Once a client has finished the program, you can redesignate the sign-in to a new client.
